Let's Partner!
Hot off the presses, our sponsorship catalogue is here.
At every event last year, I was able to stand up and say, "Everything you give tonight will benefit kids, because the cost of the event has been covered by our sponsors." That's huge! It gives people confidence that their money will go to great effect when they donate.
When I call out the names of the organizations standing firmly with kids, they take note of which businesses invest in the community that they call home.
Here you will find a opportunities to support the important work of foster care by sponsoring key community-building activities like Family Night Out and Camp Skookum. You'll also see chances to underwrite fun and fulfilling fundraisers like our Poker event in the spring and Eat, Drink & Be Giving which is coming up fast!
I'm sure that you will find something in here that matches your organization's goals and budget. But if you have a wild and crazy idea, outside the ones listed, we'd love to hear about that too.
It’s for
the kids
Meet Cara.
She grew up in foster care, and has a few things she thinks every grownup should know about that experience. And remember, when you sponsor events at Skookum Kids, kids just like Cara get the kind of care they need.
I hope you’ve had a chance to thumb through the sponsorship catalogue. It has a lot of exciting ways to get involved, and I’m sure one of them fits your business in 2023.
And if you have a different idea of how to partner, we’d love to hear that too! Some of our favorite events were dreamed up by YOU and carried out through partnership.
Here are 2 examples:
The Sweetest Fundraiser of the Year
Andi & Nick Vann at Pure Bliss Desserts have been faithful supporters over many years. They designate one day a year and donate 30% of sales to help kids. And we make sure there’s a line out the door all day!
Here’s how Andi described it:
Salish to Salish 10k
Our friends over at Salish Wealth Management pulled together a crosstown 10k race with the starting line at their front door and finishing at Zuanich Park. The event was so well received, Scott and the team brought it back for three years in a row. We loved working on this event with Salish, and it raised funds to help many children transition smoothly into foster care.
