A First Look at Our New Strategic Plan

Over the last year, the staff and board at Skookum Kids have been working together on a new strategic plan to guide our decision making and focus our shared attention in the years ahead. Many of you played a role in that too, sharing your insight about what our community needs and how we might be uniquely equipped to do next.

Your voice is critical in a process like this, because Skookum is all of us. This thing that we call Skookum Kids, the movement with the cool logo, would not be here if not for the thousands of contributions of time, money, and talent made by each of us over the last eight years. Skookum is here—loving kids and supporting families—because we each decided to do what we can. It has been remarkable how aligned we are on the important things like our shared vision for the future and our mission. And that is important, because it means our future is as bright as our past has been legendary.
